Deniz Baglan is an Associate Professor of Economics and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Economics at Howard University. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Riverside. His research focuses topics on nonparametric econometrics and panel data. In particular, he is interested in the applications of semiparametric/nonparametric panel data models in macroeconomics and empirical finance. His articles have appeared in the journals such as the Journal of Macroeconomics, Studies in Nonlinear Dynamics and Econometrics, Economics Letters and Emerging Markets Finance and Trade.
