Kirsten McLeod just completed her 4th year as a PhD Student in Economics at Howard University where she specializes in Growth and Urban Economics. Her research interests entail housing affordability and mortgage modification vis-à-vis economic integration in the context of the US economy. Additionally, she has a vast background in international and macroeconomic analysis through her tenure as an Economist at a central bank and international organizations, focusing on macroeconomic issues in developing countries in the Latin America and Caribbean region.
