AEASP 2021 Scholar Karim Adnane

Karim Adnane

My name is Karim Adnane. I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Economics from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. I'm currently a graduate student in Mathematics at City College of New York, where I'm studying the math needed to pursue theoretical research in social and economic networks and public economics. With more research experience and the opportunities provided by AEASP, I'm hoping to pursue a Ph.D. in Economics so I can contribute a diverse perspective to the field and encourage disadvantaged groups to pursue Economics. Thanks to the mentorship of Professor Holder and John Jay’s economists, I have been encouraged, taught the tools needed to also focus on the unique issues that exist within the economic justice field.
