AEASP 2021 Scholar Miasia Huebner

Miasia Huebner is a senior at Florida International University, where she is majoring in Economics. She hopes to study Development Economics at the PhD level, focusing on inequities in education. Her interest in this topic stems from the inequities she observed in her youth, having attended 13 schools across the United States and Europe, combined with her love of analyzing and solving puzzles. She hopes to work with non-governmental organizations to address some of these issues, both in the U.S. and across the globe. Prior to pursuing her bachelor's degree, Miasia served in the United States Army, and worked as an insurance agent. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, and hiking.
