AEASP 2021 Scholar Patrice Pierre

My name is Patrice Jude Pierre and I am currently a junior at the University of Rhode Island. I am double majoring in Economics and Political Science with a minor in math. I was originally born in Lowell, MA but I spent most of my life in Haiti. This is where I went to school and where I met most of my friends. I am the middle child in my family because I have a younger brother and an older sister. As of right now I live with my grandmother in Providence, RI. My topics of interest include labor economics and economic development. When I am not reading about Economics or Haitian history, I like to watch soccer games. I am a big fan of Real Madrid. Lastly, a fun fact about me is that I fluently speak French and Haitian Creole.
