AEASP 2021 Scholar SeSe Nguyen
SeSe Nguyen, from Avon, Connecticut, is an incoming junior economics and statistics double major in the University of Connecticut’s Honors Program, with aspirations of pursuing a doctoral degree in economics. She grew captivated by economics after taking a fascinating macroeconomics course and has since developed interests in financial economics and industrial organization. SeSe also works with the UConn Athletics Department as a student-athlete tutor and as an assistant to a University of California, Santa Barbara research course. Outside of the college classroom, you can find her in other classrooms, volunteering as a tutor at a nearby middle school and as a health educator to migrant farmworkers as part of UConn’s Collegiate Health Service Corps. In her free time, she enjoys working up a sweat playing doubles with the UConn Club Tennis Team, hitting the slopes on her snowboard, and jamming out to music.
