Tingting Xiong

Dr. Tingting Xiong is a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Howard University's Department of Economics, where she teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in International Economics. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. Her research projects focus on international capital flows, multinational corporation activities, international trade, and economic growth. She is particularly interested in investigating the causal relationship between foreign direct investment (FDI) and international trade as well as in evaluating how global capital flows affect developed and developing countries. Her work recently has been published in the Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance (QREF) and Global Economy Journal.
