AEASP 2022 Scholar Daniel Sierra

My name is Danny Sierra. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Concentration Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. I also received two minors in Pre-Law and Mathematics from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. In the Fall of 2022, I will be attending a Ph.D. in Economics program at Florida State University. My research interests are Fiscal Policy, Health Economics, and Economic Philosophy. With this experience and opportunities provided by the AEASP, I know that I will be well prepared for the rigor of an Economics Ph.D. program. I hope that the transition from undergraduate to graduate-level work is made smoother with this program. In addition, I hope to bring a diverse perspective and advocate for equity and representation in the field of Economics. During my free time, I enjoy cooking, baking, and playing tennis.
