AEASP 2022 Scholar Jason Harrison

Born and raised in New York City, Jason Harrison is an undergraduate at Ithaca college who majors in Mathematics and Economics. After pivoting away from a career in music, he hopes to pursue higher levels of education in the economics field and use the knowledge to enter economics academia and/or work in the policy world. Given the economics events since the Great Recession and after working a think tank during the pandemic, Jason has developed a strong interest in public finance and macroeconomics. He also enjoys reading, music, cooking and blogging whenever he gets the chance. Above all, he wants to use his curiosity about economics and desire to seek out knowledge to help craft a better world.
