AEASP 2022 Scholar Lauren Taylor

Lauren Taylor

Lauren N. Taylor, is a first-year graduate student at Howard University pursuing a Master's degree in Economics. She is also a recent graduate of Spelman College where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and was an Alfred P. Sloan research scholar. Her broad research interests include issues related to student loan debt and the "school to prison pipeline." Lauren currently serves as a Survey Intern for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and is a recent Sadie Collective Scholar. Lauren was also recently inducted into the Howard University chapter of the Omicron Delta Epsilon Honor Society (ODE). Her future plans include not only pursuing her doctorate degree in Economics, but pushing for inclusive policies that will change the socioeconomic disadvantages people of color face. When she isn't busy with school you can find her weight lifting or volunteering as a tutor.
