AEASP 2023 Scholar Adewole Adewunmi

Timothy Adewunmi is a motivated and driven individual with a passion for science and economics. He is a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Houston pursuing a double major in Biotechnology and Economics. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, and raised in Dallas, Texas, he has developed a unique perspective and a deep appreciation for diversity. Throughout his academic journey, he has been actively involved in various research projects and organizations that allowed him to gain hands-on experience in both fields. He hopes to use his knowledge and skills to make a positive impact in the healthcare industry making it more available to underserved communities regardless of education and background. In his free time, he loves playing video games, photography, and playing sports.
