AEASP 2023 Scholar Jesus Torres
Jesus Adrian Torres is an incoming Master's student at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. He is also a recent graduate of Texas A&M University, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Economics. His broad research experience ranges from economic statecraft, crime economics, and financial economics. Jesus currently is working as a research assistant in Dr. Jennifer Doleac's Justice Tech Lab and is also a Policy Analysis Associate Intern with the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. Jesus' motivation is driven by his restorative nature and his passion for helping Latino communities. He also holds a deep passion for the arts and music, which fuels his desire to become a compassionate public servant.
