AEASP 2023 Scholar Kaylee Nielson
Kaylee Nielson is an economics scholar interested in using quantitative analysis to help inform public policy, with a focus on whether a policy is equitable as well as efficient. Her experience thus far has largely been in the public sector, including internships at the Council of Economic Advisers and the Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration. Kaylee is a graduate of Wellesley College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in English. This fall, Kaylee will begin work as an Assistant Analyst at the Congressional Budget Office in Washington, D.C., helping to conduct health economics research for Congress.
Kaylee is grateful to be participating in the American Economic Association Summer Program, and looks forward to an intensive predoctoral bootcamp that continues to help diversify the discipline of economics.
