AEASP 2023 Scholar Van Le

Van Le

Van Le is a graduating senior from Hollins University with a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Applied Economics with minors in Data Science. While at Hollins, Van was active in various clubs and organizations, including Omicron Delta Kappa, Phi Beta Kappa, and Sigma Xi. She was also a Global Ambassador, Quantitative Reasoning Tutor, and Resident Assistant. She has participated in several summer programs, including the Robotics Institute Summer Scholar at Carnegie Mellon University, and Topology, and Geometry at the University of Notre Dame. She also spent her Spring 2022 semester in London. After graduating from Hollins, Van is going to pursue her M.S. in Applied Mathematics at the University of Washington, Seattle, before applying for a Ph.D. in Economics. Her areas of interest include but are not limited to equity in public policy, healthcare, education, and finance. Van enjoys traveling and working out. So far, she has been to 7 states in the U.S.
