Joanna is a rising senior at Colorado State University majoring in economics with a minor in statistics. The intersection of psychology, philosophy, and mathematics within economics fascinates her. She is interested in becoming a professor of economics and engaging in behavioral economic research. She enjoys helping younger economics students realize their full potential by working with them in the classroom and as a tutor. Joanna has always had a passion for people and relationships, which stems from her interest in culture, language, and her diverse upbringing. As a black-white biracial woman, she appreciates intersecting perspectives and ideas, which uniquely influence her approach to economics. In her free time, she enjoys salsa dancing with friends, hiking, and having interesting conversations over coffee.
