AEASP 2024 Faculty Christine Dobridge
Christine Dobridge is a Principal Economist in the Flow of Funds section at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, where she has also advised Howard University students in a data analysis course taught by Board staff since 2017. During the U.S. financial crisis, Dr. Dobridge served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Macroeconomic Analysis and a Senior Advisor in the Office of Economic Policy at the U.S. Treasury Department. Before joining the Treasury, she worked as an economist for Deutsche Bank Securities and worked on staff of the White House Council of Economic Advisers. Her research focuses on studying the effect of tax policy changes on firm investment and employment decisions and studying drivers of corporate tax planning behavior. Dr. Dobridge holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in Finance from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, an M.A. in Economics from New York University, and a B.A. in Economics from Wellesley College.
