AEASP 2024 Faculty Sinem Hacioglu-Hoke
Sinem Hacioglu-Hoke is a senior economist in the Industrial Output Section, Research and Statistics Division, at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System in Washington, D.C, since 2023. She served as a Research and Policy Advisor at the Bank of England, London, UK, where she held other roles as a senior economist since 2015. Her research focuses on (non-linear) time series econometrics with applications to macroeconomics and financial stability. Her research has been published in academic journals including the European Economic Review, the Journal of Applied Econometrics, and the International Journal of Forecasting. She has a master's degree from Koc University and a PhD degree from the University of Bonn, both in Economics. She was a research scholar at the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 2012-2013.
