AEASP 2024 Scholar Amara Jones-Myers

I am Amara Jones-Myers, an undergraduate junior at Dartmouth College. I am majoring in Economics, with a development focus, and minoring in theater. I constantly pursue rigorous and challenging environments to expand my knowledge academically and globally. I love learning different aspects of diverse cultures such as languages, media, and text. Due to this passion, I am conversationally fluent in Spanish after spending 2 and 1/2 months in Spain. Beyond academics, I am a member of Dartmouth Club Taekwondo, Gospel Choir, Sadie Alexander Association, and I participate in various theater productions. I also play the tuba, tenor ukelele, piano, and read in my spare time. Learning is a lifelong process, and I am blessed to have the opportunity to continue on this path. With the help of my drive, leadership, and creative skills, I want to share the joy of education globally.
