AEASP 2024 Scholar Erica Gonzales
Erica is currently a research assistant at MDRC's Center for Applied Behavioral Science where she helps research education programs and policies that reduce student inequity using behavioral science. Before CABS, Erica graduated with a BS in Economics from Minerva University, where she had the privilege to live and study in six cities around the world. During her undergrad, she helped revamp her university's financial aid center, proposed suggestions to improve engagement with NASDAQ's entrepreneurial services in San Francisco, designed a marketing strategy for a period wellness startup in Hyderabad, and proposed new business models for a foundation in Buenos Aires. She hopes to pursue a PhD in Economics to research evidence-based policies that help create just systems with equitable access to education and the labor market. Outside of work, Erica enjoys running throughout New York City, playing soccer, trying new foods, baking burnt basque cheesecake, and attending concerts.
