Kevin Vega

Kevin Vega is a student at the University of Georgia pursuing a B.A. in International Affairs and Economics with an emphasis in Public Policy. Kevin is involved outside the classroom as a tutor for U-LEAD, where he helps underrepresented students in Athens-Clarke County. At UGA, he works with the PROPEL Rural Scholars program, collaborating with county officials in rural areas to advance rural development initiatives. He is also currently interning with Griffin & Strong as a Data Analyst Intern, where he cleans and manipulates large governmental datasets for statistical analysis. He's acquired an admiration for data analysis and community outreach to help further economic development initiatives.

Kevin aspires to pursue a PhD in Economics to pursue his research interests in economic and rural development in Latin America to inform better policymaking in D.C. In his spare time, he enjoys reading books, playing soccer, and going to the gym.
