AEASP 2025 Scholar Anthony McBroom

Anthony is a first-year graduate student at San Francisco State University pursuing a Master's degree in Quantitative Economics. Originally from Manteca, CA, he is passionate about research in areas such as LGBT+ issues, International Affairs, and Health Economics. His recent work explored how sexual orientation can affect access to homeownership, reflecting his commitment to addressing societal challenges through economic analysis. With four years of experience as a math tutor and his current role as a teaching assistant, Anthony has developed strong communication skills and enjoys collaborating with others to achieve shared goals. He aspires for his research to make a meaningful impact, regardless of its scale. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music, drawing, and video editing, which offer creative outlets that balance his academic pursuits.
