A Conversation With Mary Daly, President, Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco

Mary Daly

On November 1, 2019, the Department of Economics and the Abram Harris Economics Society hosted Mary Daly for a fireside chat.  Mary Daly, who is the president of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, gave an impassioned discuss on economics to a standing room only crowd.  Mary was introduced by Gerald Daniels, assistant professor of economics and advisors for the Abram Harris Society.  Mary then gave powerful opening remarks with references to her experiences and path to her current position.  This was followed by an interview by Jared Broomes, economics major, junior (class of 2021).  The question and answer session that followed indicated the level of interest generated by her appearance.
