Timothy Adewunmi is a motivated and driven individual with a passion for science and economics. He is a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Houston pursuing a double major in Biotechnology and Economics. Jasmine Fuller is an economics Ph.D. student at Howard University. She specializes in urban and environmental economics and currently serves as a fellow for NOAA Cooperative Science Center in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology (NCAS-M) at Howard University. Her research explores the financial consequences of climate change and other environmental issues and most recently she has worked to investigate the economic impacts of severe weather events in the U.S. Following her Ph.D.

Eddie Gray is a doctoral student in the Department of Economics at Howard University. His primary research interests lie at the intersection of Urban Economics, Labor Economics, and Public Economics. He is also interested in research on the racial wealth gap, entrepreneurship among Black Americans, and the emerging equity crowdfunding sector. Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Mr. Gray holds a bachelor’s degree in business economics from Florida A&M University and a master’s degree in Financial Economics from Middle Tennessee State University.

Sergio Urzua is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Maryland. He is a Research Associate at the NBER, Research Fellow at IZA, and International Research Fellow at Clapes-UC. His research focuses on labor, development and applied econometrics. His research agenda includes the evaluation of social/policy interventions in developing economies. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in 2007.
