Dr. Omari H. Swinton is a professor in the Economics department at Howard University, where he teaches introductory, intermediate, and urban economics. He is currently the Director of Graduate Studies and Chair. His research interests include labor economics and education. He has papers examining the teenage labor market, the benefits from attending HBCU's, and the returns to a college education.

Sinem Hacioglu-Hoke is a senior economist in the Industrial Output Section, Research and Statistics Division, at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System in Washington, D.C, since 2023. She served as a Research and Policy Advisor at the Bank of England, London, UK, where she held other roles as a senior economist since 2015. Her research focuses on (non-linear) time series econometrics with applications to macroeconomics and financial stability.

Christine Dobridge is a Principal Economist in the Flow of Funds section at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, where she has also advised Howard University students in a data analysis course taught by Board staff since 2017. During the U.S. financial crisis, Dr. Dobridge served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Macroeconomic Analysis and a Senior Advisor in the Office of Economic Policy at the U.S. Treasury Department.

David Card is the Class of 1950 Professor of Economics at the University of California, Berkeley. Before joining Berkeley he taught at University of Chicago in 1982-83 and Princeton University from 1983 to 1996. He has held visiting appointments at Columbia University, Harvard University, UCLA, and the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences. From 2012 to 2017 he was Director of the Labor Studies Program at the National Bureau of Economic Research.

Deniz Baglan is an Associate Professor of Economics and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Economics at Howard University. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Riverside. His research focuses topics on nonparametric econometrics and panel data. In particular, he is interested in the applications of semiparametric/nonparametric panel data models in macroeconomics and empirical finance.
