My name is Roxana Gonzalez and I will be graduating in the spring of 2022 from the University of Tennessee (UT) with an Economics major and an Information Sciences minor. I am currently an undergraduate Research Assistant at UT, a role which I have thoroughly enjoyed. I also work on the weekends at a Korean Barbecue. When I am not working or studying, I like to hit the gym or enjoy a meal with friends. I am looking very forward to meeting all of the program's participants and faculty.

Alberto E. Valcárcel, born and raised in Puerto Rico, is currently pursuing a master's degree in economics at the University of Puerto Rico Rio Piedras campus. His research explores the effects of oil supply and demand and other exogenous shocks, such as monetary policy shocks, on the island's economic growth. Along with fellow classmates, he has collaborated in the foundation of the first American Statistical Association student chapter in Puerto Rico to spark interest in statistical and economic research in younger generations.

Lauren N. Taylor, is a first-year graduate student at Howard University pursuing a Master's degree in Economics. She is also a recent graduate of Spelman College where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and was an Alfred P. Sloan research scholar. Her broad research interests include issues related to student loan debt and the "school to prison pipeline." Lauren currently serves as a Survey Intern for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and is a recent Sadie Collective Scholar.

Afterwards, he spent almost a decade in business development with a focus on engineering, scientific, and software technology. He has been an IDEX Fellow in Social Enterprise, and he worked for five years at MathWorks, the developers of MATLAB and Simulink.

My name is Danny Sierra. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Concentration Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. I also received two minors in Pre-Law and Mathematics from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. In the Fall of 2022, I will be attending a Ph.D. in Economics program at Florida State University. My research interests are Fiscal Policy, Health Economics, and Economic Philosophy.

He was an intern of the Central Bank of Colombia as a research assistant. He also performed as a research assistant and undergraduate research student coordinator at EAFIT University. He was also an undergraduate teaching assistant at the same university.

Ryan Perry is a recent graduate from the University of Michigan. During her time at Michigan, she pursued an Honors concentration in Economics with a minor in Crime and Justice. When not in the classroom, Ryan held two research assistant positions with faculty at the University of Michigan, served on the University's Diversity Equity and Inclusion Student Advisory Board, was a member of the Michigan Muscle Club and worked with the Ginsberg Center on her three-year MacDonlad Fellowship appointment.

Deborah Partey is a junior at the University of Nevada, Reno. She is pursuing Economics and minoring in Mathematics. Originally from Takoradi, Ghana, she moved to the United States when she was a baby so her father could continue his education. Watching her father, earn his Ph.D. in Hydrogeochemistry, and her mother earn an M.S. in Finance and Economics, Deborah was inspired to achieve highly in academia. She is currently doing research with Dr. Todd Sorensen on why the male college enrollment rate has decreased.
